About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for Tax Compliance across all Group entities—including international structures—serving as the final sign-off before filing. You will work closely with both Finance and Legal teams to handle day-to-day tax matters and act as the main point of contact for external advisors.
This is a hands-on role, you’ll be an individual contributor reporting to the Tax Director. This role requires strong accounting fundamentals, advanced data skills (Excel and ERP systems), and solid knowledge of tax law.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Compliance: Oversee and review tax returns across all entities (domestic and international), giving the final approval (OK) for filing.
Deadline Management: Rigorously track and meet all tax declaration schedules and statutory filing deadlines across various jurisdictions.
ERP & Data Extraction: Work directly within ERP systems to download, analyze, and reconcile transaction and activity data.
External Advisor Management: Serve as the main liaison to coordinate, review, and manage work done by external tax advisors and firms.
Day-to-Day Tax Support: Address ongoing internal queries regarding tax and routine compliance issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Finance and Legal departments to streamline reporting and ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience
At least 5 years of professional experience in corporate tax, tax compliance, or tax advisory.
Proven track record in Tax Compliance, including hands-on experience managing compliance for international entities.
Solid accounting background with direct experience auditing and working with underlying accounting records.
Experience working in a Big 4 or similar consulting environment, or at fast-growing, successful companies.
Education: bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Technical Skills
Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience navigating ERP systems and tax reporting platforms.
Solid grasp of corporate tax regulations, international tax compliance, and tax law principles.
Soft Skills & Key Competencies
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to collaborate and build relationships with both internal teams (Finance, Legal) and external stakeholders (advisors, auditors, tax authorities).
Deadline-Driven: Strong time management and organizational skills to consistently meet strict tax deadlines without compromising quality.
Analytical Mindset: High attention to detail with the ability to reconcile complex data sets from ERP systems.
Autonomy: Proactive and capable of managing end-to-end tax compliance processes independently.
